Creative Maternity Shoot

I have focused on Fashion primarily for the last year but when asked to do a friends maternity shoot, I thought how is it any different to a normal fashion shoot? So I took that perception and went for it!

Alyssa flew down from Pt Hedland to Busselton so I had to make it special! I focused on her beautiful baby bump but also kept the creative juices flowing I felt free and I really  love the way the images came out! Alyssa said to me "I have so much respect for models, who would have known it would be so strenuous" the walking around and posing, pointing toes can be hard work for a pregnant lady so next time I will probably make it easier and go to less locations, But I really hope you like the images :)

Beautiful Frankie and Nicky

I had the pleasure of photographing the stunning Frankie and her Mamma Nicky in the cute town of Cowaramup, or as the locals call it "Cowtown"
We had way too much fun dressing up Frankie and having a picnic in the park, I snapped the girls just having pretend cups of tea and lots of fun together I hope you like the pics.

And apologies to all of the walker-bys that had to endure all my "goo goo garr-ing" hahahah but she was just so cute, how could you not!

Ballerina Good to Evil

Carla is a beautiful ballerina! We were aiming for the Black Swan theme but ended up with our own good versus evil concept! Carla had never done modelling before, but she followed direction like a Professional! When we went down the Busselton Jetty this little girl who would have been about 4 came up to us with her mum in awe of Carla's Beauty, I think she wanted to be a a ballerina! We did natural shots to begin with using these cement blocks down near the beach front!

I thought the urban background against the beauty of a ballerina was just awesome contrast!

And this is where the change happened, I did Carla's makeup and hair and the photos. I really wish I could find some reliable makeup artist and hair stylists so I didn't have to do everything! Please let me know if your interested in collaborating in any upcoming fashion shoots.

Antique Beauty-Amber's fashion shoot

We did this shoot down in Margaret River on Amber's 11 acre property. I LOVED her house she had all the vintage things that I adore. I did Amber's Makeup and then we searched the house for amazing props. We ended up using the birdcage as her bird just died and I thought it was really symbolic as it was empty. We also used that amazing 1800's chair/lounge you see in the pics. Amber will be assisting me on some upcoming photo shoots as she too has a passion for photography and I am super excited to collaborate ideas!

I had a lot of fun using natural light in a lot of these to get the sun flare and intentionally over exposing the images so they look more aged, I also added some reds in the post processing :)
